Ideas & Concerns
- Form Community Emergency Response Teams for all 5 disciplines
- Provide public education describing our local emergency services
- Form Quick Response Units and / or Rehab units
- Improve communications between all emergency service disciplines
- Reduce dispatch times between counties
- Educate all disciplines on each others resources and capabilities
- Support and provide a united front for each discipline during funding
procurement within their service area - Develop an Emergency contact list for mutual aid including all 5 disciplines
- Assist with dry hydrant placement and funding
- Establish quarterly meetings for each discipline
- Organize within the Mahantongo Valley Grid Association coverage area and
become a supporting umbrella for all 5 disciplines in that service area - Acquire Local, State and Federal funding for training and equipment
- Develop a recruitment program to obtain more emergency service volunteers
