Some time back in early 2005, Todd Mace had an idea of creating an organization that would benefit our local Emergency Services. Todd, being a member of several Emergency Service Organizations, such as Jackson Twp EMA and Hickory Corners Fire Co., has had substantial training in Emergency Management. After inquiring information from many sources both local and from afar he decided to take action. On August 4, 2005, Todd with 3 other EMA Coordinators, Shawn Leitzel, Matt Heim and Chad Williard met for the first time in an official manor to discuss the formation of the MVESB. Since that first meeting, many more officials and services have joined forces to help make the MVESB a useful tool in the valley.
